Red Clay Democrats Candidate Support Applications Are Open

Red Clay Democrats is accepting applications from Democratic candidates running in competitive Georgia races.

Our PAC supports Democrats who are building real campaigns in winnable, flippable, and defensible seats. We are especially interested in races where targeted support can help move the margin, protect Democratic gains, or create new opportunities to build Democratic power in Georgia.

If you are running in a competitive race with a clear path to victory, we encourage you to apply.

Who Should Apply

  1. First, we are looking for Democratic candidates who are running in races where additional support can make a meaningful difference.
  2. Ideal applicants include candidates running in:
    • Competitive races
      Seats where the margin is close and voter outreach, field support, communications, or funding could help shape the outcome.
    • Flippable seats
      Republican-held districts where Democrats have a credible opportunity to win.
    • Defensible seats
      Democratic-held districts that need protection in a competitive cycle.
    • Campaigns with a plan
      Candidates who can clearly explain their district, campaign strategy, voter universe, fundraising plan, and path to victory.

What Selected Candidates May Receive

  • Red Clay Democrats may provide support to selected candidates through:
    • Direct PAC contributions
      Financial support for campaigns in competitive races.
    • Promotional support
      Amplification through Red Clay Democrats’ communications channels and community network.
    • Donor visibility
      Opportunities to be introduced to supporters who want to invest in winnable Democratic races.
    • Strategic attention
      A chance to make the case for why your race deserves targeted support.
    • Submitting an application does not guarantee endorsement, funding, or promotional support. Applications will be reviewed based on competitiveness, campaign viability, alignment with Red Clay Democrats’ mission, and available resources.
